据媒体报道，正大柬埔寨集团（CP Cambodia）将在柬埔寨投资800万美元建造第二座饲料厂，预计2015年中期开始运营。
正大柬埔寨集团是泰国卜蜂集团有限公司下属的子公司，此次计划开建的动物饲料厂是该公司在拜林省的第一家工场，预计每年将生产18万吨饲料。正大柬埔寨集团总裁Uthai Tantipimolphan表示，工厂已经开工，预计建设工程持续8个月。
拜林省农业厅副厅长Chhil Chhen在报告中称：“拜林是柬埔寨木薯和玉米的产地之一。正大柬埔寨集团也看到了木薯和玉米作为动物饲料原材料的潜力。”
据统计，柬埔寨农业部2013年的年度报告显示，柬埔寨全国共有7家主要的饲料厂，每年大约生产100万吨动物饲料。
